Backup is a copy. Recovery is a plan.
Many businesses have a backup and assume they're covered. Then a server fails or ransomware hits, and they discover the backup is weeks old, takes days to restore, or never included the database that matters. Disaster recovery closes that gap: how quickly you need to be running again, how much data you can afford to lose, and a tested way to get there.
Disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS)
With DRaaS, your servers are replicated to the cloud continuously. If your server, office or data center goes down, we start those servers in the cloud and connect your users to them, often within hours. When the original site is ready, we move everything back.
Cloud backup and file sharing
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace don't keep everything forever. We back up mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Google Drive separately, and set up secure file sharing so staff stop emailing attachments and using personal accounts.
Business continuity planning
Technology is only part of it. We help you write down who does what when systems are down: how staff work, how customers are told, which systems come back first. Then we test it.
| Term | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| RTO (recovery time objective) | How long you can be down before it seriously hurts |
| RPO (recovery point objective) | How much recent work you can afford to lose |
