Infrastructure as a service, without the surprises
Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) means renting compute, storage and networking from Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services instead of buying hardware. It's the right home for workloads that grow, shrink or need to be reachable worldwide, and for businesses that want to stop owning servers altogether.
The catch is complexity. Hundreds of services, pricing that changes by region and hour, and security settings that are open by default in places you wouldn't expect. Most of the cloud problems we're called in to fix are either a surprise bill or something exposed to the internet that shouldn't be.
How we run your cloud
- Landing zone first. Subscriptions or accounts, networks, identity and policies set up properly before anything is deployed.
- Security by default. Multi-factor authentication for every admin, least-privilege roles, private networking, logging and alerts.
- Backup and recovery. Every virtual machine and database protected, with recovery tested.
- Cost control. Right-sizing, reserved instances and savings plans, shutdown schedules, budgets and a monthly review of where the money went.
Azure or AWS?
If you already run Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, Azure is usually the natural fit. If your developers or software vendors are on AWS, we work there too. Many clients use a mix, alongside our private cloud for steady workloads.
